Empowering Parents as Healers
As shared in the article, Conscious Care Cards was created by mental health educator and professor Karen A. Green, MSW, LSSW, after more than 25 years of working with children and families. Each box of 72 evidence-based activity cards turns 2–15 minutes of everyday time into moments of healing and connection.
Each card helps parents and caregivers “intentionally create their nest,” turning small windows of time into opportunities to build empathy, resilience, and emotional intelligence — for both parent and child.
A Movement Toward Emotionally Healthy Homes
This recognition by Columbia Gorge News reflects a growing awareness that mental health tools belong not just in clinics, but in homes, classrooms, and communities. Conscious Care Cards are more than a product — they’re a movement to help families break generational cycles, nurture presence and patience, and create safe, mindful spaces for connection.
Join the Movement
We invite families, schools, and community leaders to join us in “owning your impact” — by helping children feel seen, safe, and deeply connected.
